Subject lines – the “headlines” your eMail campaigns use are of fundamental importance as to whether your eMails are opened or not. If the subject line is “tacky”, then the eMail will be regarded as spam. If it is too “safe”, it will be regarded as too boring, and won’t be opened.
Worse still, if your subject line is poorly-chosen, your eMail may not even get past the spam filters!
